Supporting to the National Program Arsip Masuk Desa (AMD), Board of Library and Archive of East Java Province has a program to increase village secretary ability in the record management and administration. Some activities has set up for them, such as  training of trainer, archival assistance, training, competition, monitoring and also evaluation after the training. And this program carried out good influence to the village administration, although it has not reach to all villages in East Java Province.
           Since the program declared by the Former President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on August 2009, the East Java Province has trained 1687 (23 session) village secretaries from 8506 villages. Most of them are trained by their own government and budgeting (5051 villages). Even 19 from 38 regency/municipality goverment have completed the training for their village secretary. It will become our advantage when the archival budgeting of East Java Province are insufficient. We also expect, the rest (1768) will be finished on 2019.
           Record management and administration are very importance to applied to the lowest goverment like the village. As we know, they managed government budget, organized village and managed the record that they got along the institution running.  It is not an easy task. They have to know  the basic of record arrangement,  recognized the record or non record, and also, when the record will be kept in the repository or disposed if the retention are finish. It is important for them, as the responsibility of the duty.
           The Director of Library and Archive Board, Mr. Sudjono said that Provincial government has committed to complete the training to all village secretary until finish. For this reason, the Provincial Government of East Java will be continuing the training in this month (February 22 – 25th 2016). He expect the archival training will support the good and clean government in Indonesia (ek).
